e-Sevanam Portal – Department of – Government of Kerala has made over 900 services available via a single window system, e-several portals. which was introduced to provide government services to the people Using the above online services, as many as 7.5 crore certificates have been issued. In order to make the system faster, e-office system was introduced and set up successfully at various places like RTO offices, collectorates, and secretariats. The entire online platform is currently being expanded. The state government is looking forward to include more e-services. For example, homeless people managed to get over 20,000 homes as part of the Life Mission program.

A user finds it very challenging to memorize the URLs or to search through various URLs to access a service. This portal aims to give a list of every online application and portal created by various departments, along with the application’s name, function, and other information needed to use the service. This makes it possible for users to access and browse through various programs with maximum simplicity

About E-Sevanam Portal

The Government of Kerala provides many services to people in various sections of the society through different government departments. The vast majority of the services covered under the Right to Services Act (RTS) have been made online by various departments.

In this pandemic situation, people need to have access to all government services through a unified portal from the comfort of their own homes without having to go to government offices. Currently, citizens can access the online services of various departments only through the website of each department which causes practical difficulty.

In this context, the Government of Kerala has designed a centralised Kerala Service Portal called “eSevanam” incorporating the online services of all departments. The declared policy of the Government of Kerala, ’Internet is my right’ is implemented through the Kerala Service Portal www.services.kerala.gov.in.

This disabled-friendly Portal aggregates 500 plus services from 50 plus departments in the initial phase. Parallelly, A mobile application “mSevanam” has also been made ready for mobile-friendly services.

In addition to Universal search, Portal segregates services based on Target Users (Public, Students, Farmers, Women and Children, Youth and Skills Development, Social Security and Pensioners, Utilities and Others). Forthcoming releases of Portal shall include Single Sign-On for all online services.
