Objectives of MPTAAS Scholarship 2024

The MPTAAS scholarship scheme aims to encourage the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students of Madhya Pradesh to pursue higher education. The government of Madhya Pradesh started this scholarship program to help students who are members of scheduled castes or scheduled tribes get money to go to school. MPTAAS Scholarship Benefits

For different streams, there are different rates of benefits available, such as:

• For 11th and 12th Grade There is a total of Rs230 for scholars and Rs380 for hostellers.
• For Graduate-level courses not included in Group I and II such as B.Work, B.Sc., and BA there is a total amount of Rs 300/ and for Hostellers Rs 570/
• For UG/ PG(business courses) like Nursing, Pharmacy, and LLB For scholars there is a total amount of Rs 530/ and for Hostellers Rs 820/
• For Medical, Engineering, Management, M.Phil., Ph.D., UG, PG For scholars there is a total amount of Rs 550/ and for Hostellers Rs 1500/

Eligibility Criteria of MPTAAS Scholarship

Following is the eligibility for the MP Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme:

• The applicant must be a resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• The applicant must belong to a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class or Minority Class.
• The applicant must be studying in a recognized educational institution.
• The annual income limit of the applicant should be within the prescribed norms.
• The following is the annual income limit of the applicant:
• For SC and ST students: Up to Rs 2,50,000
• For OBC students: Up to Rs 6,00,000
• For minority students: Up to Rs 4,00,000
• The calculation of the applicant’s family income includes the following:
• Income of the applicant’s parents.
• Income of the applicant’s siblings.
• Income of the applicant’s spouse.
